KIMBER GREEN
Founder / Trip Leader
Kimber is the founder and owner of Green Room Outside, a women-owned backpacking company dedicated to empowering women through outdoor adventure. A licensed massage therapist, certified speech-language pathologist, and mindfulness meditation instructor, Kimber’s dedication to wellness earned her the title of Best Mindfulness Coach in Best of Boston in 2016.
Her love for the outdoors began as a child, hiking and camping with her mother, aunt, grandmother, and grew into a passion for backpacking and its empowering simplicity. Kimber has thru-hiked Vermont’s Long Trail, Scotland’s West Highland Way, England’s Cumbria Way, and Oregon’s Timberline Trail.
As a trail guide, Kimber incorporates mindfulness meditation and presence, helping others connect more deeply with nature and themselves. CPR and Wilderness First Aid certified, she is committed to fostering confidence, community, and connection in the wilderness, supporting women of all experience levels as they embrace the joys of backpacking.

TRICIA VERRIER
Guide
Tricia is an enthusiastic backpacking guide who discovered her passion for the outdoors later in life, who now finds herself driven to explore all of the beauty that New England trails have to offer. Currently, she is working on completing the White Mountain Four Thousand Footers in all four seasons. An avid trail runner, she thrives on the challenge and joy of outdoor adventures.
With plans to retire in 2025 from her role as a Judicial Assistant in the U.S. District Court in Boston, Tricia is excited to dedicate even more time to the outdoors. She is known for her calm demeanor, unwavering support, and encouragement, making her an inspiring guide for both beginners and experienced women.
As a wilderness first aid certified guide and a long-time Arlington, MA resident with deep local roots, she brings a wealth of knowledge and care to every trip. She is proud to be part of a woman-owned company, fostering community and empowerment on the trail.

MARY EGAN
Guide
Mary is a passionate adventurer who loves jaunts, strolls, and jogs—whether wandering through city streets or exploring forest trails, she believes time spent moving is always time well spent. Mary successfully thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail in 2018 and Vermont’s Long Trail in 2020 and has completed all of New England’s 4,000-footers.
A Wilderness First Aid Certified guide, Mary is dedicated to continuous learning and regularly pursues additional outdoor education. She also serves on the board of the Maine Appalachian Trail Land Trust, working to preserve the landscapes surrounding the "green tunnel" she knows and loves.
Mary is thrilled to be part of a local, women-owned and -run business that empowers others to connect with the outdoors. As the proud mother of an active toddler, she is excited to share her love of adventure with the next generation. When on the trail, you’ll often find her snacking on rice crispy treats—her favorite hiking fuel!

REESE GREEN
Guide
Reese is a passionate adventurer who loves helping others connect with nature through unforgettable outdoor adventures. She has thru-hiked Vermont's Long Trail and Scotland's West Highland Way and explored portions of the Appalachian Trail, as well as trails in England and France. As a trail runner who thrives on long hours immersed in the wilderness, she brings both endurance and enthusiasm to every trip.
With a graduate degree in healthcare data analytics and a creative spirit fueled by her love of painting, Reese offers a unique blend of analytical thinking and artistic appreciation that enhances her approach to guiding. She is also wilderness first aid certified, ensuring the safety and well-being of her clients on every journey. Proud to be part of a woman-owned company, she is dedicated to empowering others to explore, learn, and grow on the trail.
